A big surprise for overclockers

AMD didn't even want to give up this information at an investors event, but it is working on the introduction of a brand new of Black series of Phenom, meant for the retail.

This CPU has been inspired by the great success of the Athlon black edition box 5000+ and 6400+ series, and AMD hopes to get the same success with the unlocked Phenoms.

We don't know the clock speeds, but we will try to find out.

What use can it be with a unlocked BE Phenom when those still have this errata and can not be over clocked without increasing probability of system lock up or other problem?

The TLB problem seems to be overstated and more to do with virtualisation ... which you do not really use on a single desktop computer. See the following link.
