Phenom is only running at half speed. Cool and Quiet is disabled.

Hi,

Its fairly obvious from the CPU-Z pic that the problem is the CPU Multiplier, it should be at x11 and not at x5.5 as it is currently showing with you.

Though that said I've noticed that CPU-Z has been quite buggy with Phenoms.

Try checking the CPU Mulitplier in your BIOS to make sure its set correctly at x11

Thing is, I can't acces the multi. BIOS 1202 for the ASUS M2N-E wiped the setting out.

Everything is on auto. Cool and Quiet is disabled. I'm getting 6K in 3DMark06, which is about 3.5k worse then what I got with my X2 4200+ on the same set up.

It sucks...

Its the same thing everywhere plagueing Phenom at the moment, really, REALLY, crappy BIOS support.

The Mobo manufacturers have really messed up hugely, there are some signs that BIOS' are starting to improve, but so far its been a painfully slow ordeal, and even then there are still problems.

Makes you wonder if Intel have given them all a backhander to screw with the Phenom launch...!!!!

**ATTENTION**

I have solved my problem. Enabling C&Q fixes the problem. CPU-Z reprts 2.2 GHz, as it should. AMD Power Monitor also reports the correct speeds. It's really stupid actually. Weird how C&Q was kind'a of inversed.
