I have a couple of these processers. They are not maked as d or E but AXDA3200KV3C. Now I have heard that this is not a valid AMD part number. The only MOBO I have tried to run them on is a Gigabyte GA7-N400. I have checked the specs on this board and it will run a barton core 3200+. But of coarse this is not marked as a Barton. I don't think a C is any faster than 266.
Does anyone out there know the story on these things? OEM? Something sold somewhere other than North America? Or just a load of crap? I can make it run at 2Ghz, but not very stable. And I can make it run at 3200+, but same story as far as stability goes. I would really like to hear the real story on these chips, they look real, but logic says they are not. Of coarse if they are OEM, AMD would not support them.

Probably a faked CPU, a 3200+ with FSB266 would have to run with 2.4 GHz or above. I doubt AMD would have released such a processor unless it's a very special OEM model. Also the OPN should be AXDA3200DKV3C.
