Prime95 failed on my desktop.. without any overclocking. My temp looks kinda cool though, 30-35 idle and low 40s after 1 hour under prime95 blend. 1 of the cores on the Phenom 940 failed after about 70 minutes.

The only thing i can think of is the memory setting. Bios and POST only sees 2048. Cpu-z list 4096 single channel 533mhz. Enable remap has been enabled on bios.

And yes, this is with the latest Asus M4N72-E motherboard bios.


2nd problem:

While running games, my BFG 9800gtx would work fine until it gets near 58c. I would then get a blank sceen, computer locks up, gpu fan would also rev higher.

Do I have 2 problems (memory & vidcard) or just one major one?
