Had the error but only once after 3 months, but just reformatted my SSD, which I do regularly to keep my comp clean. Otheriwse I wanted to say running an MSI 790fx GD70, so it isnt just asus but like I said only once.

AMD 965 running at only 3.5 wont let me overclock anymore if my memory is higher then 1333? but 3.8 with 4gb's running 1800mhz.
MSI 790fx GD70
2x sapphire 5770's can't seem to overclock at all without some sort of weirdness so gave up.
8gb corsiar xms3 at 1565 wont let me overclock anymore grr
with 4gbs was 1800.
SSD torqx 64gb
wd 750gb
WIN 7 64 p:s win 7 is amazing compared to vista 30 min to install for me so I can reformat whole comp and have it up and running in an hour tops.
Had vista on another fast comp I have installed took 3 days to run the updates for windows then during the updates accidentally unplugged power strip and whammo comp perma crashed so said f it and bought another win 7 that comp took an hour 30 min. NO problems, rockin.

Most sync flood errors are caused by inadequate voltages for the cpu,and imc,ie cpu-nb,and sometimes a corrupt bios.
