Hello all, noob here looking for help. I have a 550 BE on a gigabyte ma 790xt ud4p and when I open the energy saver program the board comes with it shows it's at 50w. I just upgraded my board from a gigabyte ma785gm-us2h and that showed it was at 80w. Is there anything I should be looking for in my BIOS settings? Also, on the new board if I opened a program I would see the wattage spike momentarilly to 58w +/-. All my settings are stock, no OC yet.

My set up is very basic:
550 BE
MB 790XT-UD4P
4GB G.Skill 1600
GTS 250 1GB

Thanks in advance for any help.
