Answer:
Thank you VERY much !!

Finally, I have installed Power Monitor 131 on my Wife's PC.
I can confirm, even though the download site is in German,
this is the REAL English version of AMD Power Monitor version 131.

THANK YOU ever so much for posting this.
I now have it safely backed up to 3 different Hard Drives and soon to be copied
to optical media (CD/DVD) for safe keeping.

Thanks again.

Hi all. There used to be a program available in the driver download section called the AMD Power Monitor. I have it installed on one of my Win 7 rigs right now (version 1.3.1) and wanted to download it for another rig I'm building for the wife.

Problem is, I can't seem to find it anymore. It lists the processor drivers for win xp, dual core optimizer, etc..., but there is no listing for the AMD Power Monitor.

I like using it as it is a LOT more handy to have it running in the system tray and be able to right click it and change power schemes than have to go into the windows 7 Personalize, then Screen saver, then finally power options.
Plus, it shows the core voltage, core utilization and it is a very handy utility.

Anybody know where to find it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated,
thank you.

Thanks for the reply, but the links you gave say it's version 131, but it's an older version.

I have searched using google and yahoo all over, but all the links say 131 but link to an older version of the AMD Power Monitor.
I have 131 installed, but because of a drive failure, I lost the installer and now AMD site (nor do any others, apparently) do not
have the setup.exe file needed to install version 131.
The digital signature of the setup.exe is always December of 2007, so with that I know it is an older version.
The readme in the version 131 I have currently installed is dated May, 2009.

Thank you for trying, however.

Hi Dukmiester2

I have exactly the same problem than you, and I'm looking for the installation exe for the version 1.3.1

Did you manage to find it anywhere?

Thanks

Nope, just stopped in here to see if anybody was able to find it yet.
Still can't find it.
I do have it installed on one system, so I am wondering what will happen if I just copy
the entire folder where it is installed to the other PC and just made a shortcut of my own.

If I can't find the version 131 installer, I may give that a try.

Hello, guys,

if you still have that problem, then please try looking at this site:

http://download.winboard.org/details.php?file=1051

(It is version 1.3.1.16.)

I am awfully sorry that it is in German, but that was the best that I could find. However, it should not be very difficult to follow the instructions on the site. Right now you should be only 3 clicks away (2 on that site) from your goal. ;-)

I am sorry, but I can't post direct links, you must probably generate them yourself, as they contain some unique session information and are different every time.

(So, please scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on "Download: AMD Power Monitor 1.3.1", then on the next page click on "Download starten"... and there you go, enjoy your find!)

I was looking for the very same thing and found that almost all sites advertising the download of version 1.3.1 offer fakes, because they only offer direct links to AMD's site pointing to version 1.2 (or something like that). So after looking around a bit, I first found this site, then that one, and then decided to come back to register and post this.

Hmm, I wonder why the people at AMD deliberately removed it from their site...
So, my advice for you: get it while you can!

//EDIT: My original confusing wording corrected. I meant the Internet site was in German, not the software package. I accidentally made it confusing by adding the version number.
