You are absolutely right...never entered my mind because I never turned Cool & Quiet on since I built it 15months ago. I have no idea how that happened but that definitely ddi the trick. Will monitor for a few days to make sure it's back to 100% normal, but based on what it's doing now it looks good. Thanks!!!

I have been using a 720BE with the 4th core enabled and overclocked to about 3.4MHz. The CPU runs cool at about 31C at idle to 35C-40C under normal load and 50C under a full out test. It just started booting very slowly and freezing up. Searching for a cause I found the Vid voltage is oscillating between 0.95 (0.8Ghz and a multiplier nof 4) to 1.35V (3.4GHz and 16.5 multiplier). The 4th core enable also randomly disables and reverts back to a normal 720 3 core. Is this a bad CPU indication or a bad Mobo? I am at a loss to tell which is causing the oscillation...
