I bought a 1090T last week and I started to work with my brand new pc last friday.
My pc is a 1090T + Gigabyte 870A + 8GB Kingston 1333Mhz + HD5670 DDR5 + OCZ 500W XStream2.
So, I started a rendering process with VRay but my processor got 62ºC quickly and I stoped the process. The 1090T was mounted with stock cooler and ArticSilver5.
The stock temperature is about 35~36ºC.
I'm afraid to continue with the rendering process and burn my processor. I called the AMD Support Center here in Brazil and the support guy says this temperature with 100% of the CPUs is not good.
What should I do? This is normal to a rendering process with this kind of Phenom?
Should I buy a new cooler as a Hyper V6, Hyper 212 or iCE AGE 120 Prima Boss II?
Thanks guys, and I'm sorry about my english.
My case is a Leadership X-Transformer, recommended by the most popular technology forum in Brazil.
I'm using 3 fans:
- 1x120mm in front of the case sucking the air
- 1x120mm in back pushing out
- 1x80mm AKASA Blue LED sucking the air.
I'm not sure about the 120mm fans configuration, I think something about 1500~200RPM and 60CFM.
The AKASA Led fan is 2500RPMs and 28.76CFM.
The room is hot, about 27~28ºC and case temperature is just 2 or 3 degrees above it.
