hello, i recently bought 2 AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Editions and a MSI mobo that CLAIMES to have the ability to unlock
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16813130590
this is not the case however, both of my processors have failed to unlock or should i say one failed to unlock properly, the other did not post at all. the one that did allow me to boot up did claim to be at X4 seen in pic 1 but only shows 2 cores with two threads.? how could this even be possible, in my bois i dont have advanced clock control or EC firmwear selector, just a simple "unlock core" button. my bios claims to have all 4 cores active but still only two show up in taskmanager. after my journy to overclock.net i decited to take my query here.
