What overclocks has everyone done with the 1100T?
I'm wondering about voltage and multiplier and FSB settings people are using.

My board is a touch old (Asus M3A78-T) and the RAM might become my bottleneck being DDR2... or am I wrong?

I've been overclocking since second boot.
currently stable at..
FSB = 200Mhz
mult = 18.5
vcore = 1.41v
== 3709Mhz

Using the Antec Kuhler 620, my temps with prime95 max out at 47 celcius... so no heat issues..

But once I clocked it to 19x multiplier and the 3rd core got an error during a prime95 run. Vcore was at 1.4v at the time, so perhaps the clock was too high?

Any and all input/opinions welcome and appreciated!

If you got an error when you bumped up the multi then you also need to bump up the vcore (CPU Voltage) until it becomes stable or you reach your thermal threshold.

This part I understand, but is the error or loss of a core a typical sign that the OC is unstable?

Yes, if you don't have the V-core set high enough one or two core will drop out during a prime95 run.
This is probaly caused by V-core drop, with your mobo (like mine) the cpu voltage will drop when under load and it might be dropping low enough that it becomes unstable @3.8.

Your going to have to bump up the voltage too 1.43~1.45v to get it stable @3.8Ghz.
Now don't worry your not going to fry anything, as long as you got a good cooling system you can bump this cpu up to 1.5v, but I don't recommed running 24/7 at that.

PII 1100T (Extinct)
Asus M4A78T-E (should be Extinct)
4Gb of Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz DDR3 (Going strong)
2x1GB 5850's (On their last lags)
Corsair HX850W (Awsome)
NZXT Phantom case (too ***** big)

Hello, i have question too about O.C ing my 1100T, i have sabertooth 990fx, geil ultra 2x2gb, 2133mhz, corsair H70, cooler master cosmos 1000.

I heve hudge problem o.c ing this fenom, previosly had 955 sucsessfuly o.c. 4 ghz 1.414v(p95 24/h), on 1100t i have problem passing 227*16.5 on 1.380v (p95 tested on 10h)(cpu/nb freq 2000, 1.250v, ht 2000, DIGI+VRM all on highest LLC extreme, 140% etc, DRAM set to manual 1.65 all rest on auto) , i cant manege to pass this threshold increasing multiplyer or/and voltage at all, i get i get worker stoped, BSOD, stoped , BSOD in cirkles till i got to 1.500v, then stoped cause dont wana O.C. on that high voltage, then i taught may be its memory(after all it is intel optimised XMP), i lowerd FSB to 222*18 and started with 1.43750v it was 1.456 and 1.476 in load(my goal was to reach stabile +-4ghz) then i was geting anly Worker stopped after 2-6h on p95, then i was pissed off and put FSB on 200 and statted busting multi and voltage on 200*20 1.476 to 1.488 and 1.488 i got only worker stoped, seams like i cant manage to reach that for now magick figure of 4.0 ghz, i rly dont know what to try next?!?, only thing what srossed my mind is to sell my memory and by some amd optimised ones or i just have bad chip.... Pls help.... :-(

I have a P11 X4 965BE and it has only one core left. It seems to be a problem with AMD processors. My processor doesn't get hot. 39 degrees C is about the top. Lack of volts isn't an issue either. It can run stable at 1.4 volt or up to 1.505 volt. No difference.
Lots of forums on the web where people are complaining about Phenoms losing cores.
One guy enabled core unlocking and it fixed his 955BE. Anothe guy re seated his CPU and it fixed his 965BE.
None of those things worked for me. I'll probably have to RMA.
The forums with these problems were known 2 years ago, but obviously AMD hasn't put out a fix.
