So I decided to build a new computer using some of my existing components. I got a new case and motherboard that I thought was compatible with my old processor, but now I'm not so sure. I connected everything, turn it on, and get no image. Fans and LED's are on, and according to the LED's it says the processor is not installed properly (it is) or it's damaged. I'm thinking I may just have an incompatibility issue and my motherboard doesn't support my processor....Here's what I'm working with

AMD Phenom 9500
MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum motherboard
2x Corsair DDR2 2GB RAM
Antec 650w power supply
Etc, Etc...

Everything is hooked up properly. There's no grounding issue, I don't think, because everything is getting power. I really can't figure this out...any suggestions?

MSI lists the 9500 as compatible with that board since BIOS 3.1 which appears to be the earliest BIOS.

the cpu's is probably damaged from shipping and that K9N2 is a high-end mobo and should have no problem with an 9500
