take a look or download this PDF if you are still looking to upgrade CPU, Memory, HDD, Etc. http://tim.id.au/laptops/acer/aspire%205515.pdf
it is very intensive in part replacement/compatibility and how to disassemble/reassemble your Acer Aspire 5515
@Weinter: as far as i know and have read, the mainboard for the 5515 is not Phenom compatible. also because of the Phenom's high wattage(80w+), i would not recommend inside a laptop/notebook.
@brando0525: This processor is better than the one posted http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16819103279
and is compatible with the Aspire 5515.
If you're looking for other replacement parts for the 5515, look on Newegg.com for the wishlist "Acer Aspire 5515 Parts". It has the easiest replaceable parts compiled into one simple list.
