Basically, it's giving me huge problems in WoW, it tears FPS down to as low as 5 in world of warcraft. It's not the graphics card because the lag continues when I close WoW. And makes the whole laptop lag. The problem only occurs when I'm on WoW though or just closed it.

Still, it's making the game unplayable. Are there anything I can do to fix this?

4GB ram, graphics card is ATI 4530. Any help of what can be causing this is very much appreciated.

Note: I used to have a Core 2 Duo T8100 on my old laptop, and it ran great and very cool. This Turion however makes the fan spin 24/7, I am deeply dissapointed by the quality so far, as the laptop itself was quite expensive.

Do you have HWMonitor Screenshots while gaming?

It is definitely overheating.
I recommend undervolting and reapplication of thermal paste preferbly MX-2.
If it under warranty demo this condition to them to demand a replacement.

Ye, think I will hand it in.

Btw, didn't quite get what you meant with replacement? A new laptop or new CPU?
Personally, I regret going for AMD this time, and probably the last time I'll ever do.

Appreciate the help.

Oh and, the temp is staying on steady 50 celsius while running normal programs, but not games though.

Note: I Found something interesting. Once I removed the battery CPU temps now are always lower than 68 when playing, strange?

Is it because Vista /Win 7 lock CPU frequency to 50% on Windows Advance Power Management?
Anyway you can try undervolting first.
If your CPU is well diffused it can drop alot of heat by undervolting

Turn the laptop off and blow compressed air into the fan vent until no more dust comes out.

Optimize your startup and remove all unnecessary tasks and services too, run Disk Cleanup and get everything it finds, as well as CCleaner, defrag the Boot Sector, and yes undervolt the processor a bit. Make sure you have the most recent AMD Catalyst drivers installed. And that your registry is clean.
