hi!

I have hp6735s with SI-40 (s1 stocket) processor and I'm planning to replace it with turion X2 TL-58/68 both and i need to know is there any problems with it? like does my bios support it etc.?

SI is based on Griffin S1G2 Socket you should pick RM/ZM Processor.
To be safe I recommend RM-70 the least hot of the S1G2 Socket.

I have the same Laptop with an Athlon 64 X2 QL-60 with 1.90GHz and its cooling is too weak.
I already cleaned the cooler and everything but when it runs under pressure, eg in gaming, it shuts down after 15-30minutes.

only a laptop-cooling-pad could help me out.

Refer to my blog on how to set the fan to run Max manually.
Acer didn't do their Fan EC Programming well enough there is a Max RPM Fan Spin which you can activate when you are gaming.
