Answer:
Erm M660 is no longer the most powerful.
The Mobile Phenoms are out namely

However laptops with this Processor SKU is rare.

My kids heading off to College in about a year. I've always been an AMD man. I've been doing my research but for the life of me I can't figure out which of AMD's mobile processors is the most powerful? Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the mobile products are here... http://products.amd.com/en-us/NotebookCPUResult.aspx

Comparison of top cpus... http://products.amd.com/en-us/...&id=630&id=435&id=371

I'm no expert but I'd pick the M660.

In this list there is a benchmark result for M660, N830, N930. Indeed the N930 seem be quite a bit more powerful than M660.
