I have a Dell inspiron and would very much like to upgrade my cpu, but honestly i dont know if i even can and if i do i cant find enough info on it to know what socket it is. I have a AMD Mobile Sempron 3600+ 2.00 ghz and i would like a dual core proccesor that can give me some more power for varying reasons, any help or insight would be appreciated, thanks.

You are best off checking Dells website for info and specs. There isn't a lot we can tell you with just Dell Inspiron to go by. If you do upgrade heat will be an issue. You may fair better selling your current laptop and buying a new one.
