I Need a driver for the SM Bus Controller for XP Pro on my Dell Inspiron 1721.

I installed all the drivers from the list on the following page, except the one for the webcam, because I do not have that device. http://www.getpcmemory.com/dri...21-windows-xp-drivers/

It got rid of all the Yellow Question Marks except one, the SM Bus Controller. Dell Tech Support ONLY told me there were no XP drivers for the 1721 only Vista drivers. HOWEVER if you check the above site, all of the drivers are Dell drivers except the AMD Radeon Xpress 1250/1270 Driver For XP. What XP driver do I download to fix the SM Bus Controller? I do so want to prove DELL Tech Support wrong, because everything else is working.

How do you convert what Dell Tech Support called a "VISTA ONLY" Dell Inspiron 1721 to a BETTER running XP Pro laptop?

AND then add the following one to the list, realizing that the DELL R141246 driver is only the driver for the Card Reader, and not the CHIPSET. DELL POSTED IT ERRONEOUSLY, OMITTING THE ACTUAL CHIPSET DOWNLOAD. However until DELL corrects that Driver posting error, I solved the missing SM Bus C ontroller driver by installing the ATI South Bridge driver: 10-6_xp32-64_sb the fouth download on the list. NOW EVERYTHING WORKS ON MY "XP PRO" Dell Inspiron 1721.
