Okay. I have an Acer Aspire 5534. The processor is an AMD Athlon(tm) X2 Dual Core Processor L310 1.20GHz. I want to upgrade the CPU, so I can have a faster GHz for some gaming and different programs I need to use.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for the help!

Try getting CPU-Z and post the screen here. Hopefully these 2 threads above are a nice read.

L510 is a bit faster, but it also accepts TF-20. That means that in the threads above binarysum1 is running TL-68. But beware, you better have your house temp low enough and have a nice laptop cooler.
