My friend recently bought a laptop with an AMD A8-3500m APU (an HP Pavilion dv6-6140us, to be exact). I tried updating its integrated Radeon HD 6620G to the latest Catalyst driver set (11.8) but it didn't work. The mobile driver version didn't even acknowledge that the PC had AMD graphics hardware, and the desktop driver set updated a few things but didn't update the graphics drivers themselves. Is there anything specific I need to do to upgrade the graphics drivers on a mobile Fusion APU?

Same here, can't find any drivers that work with the HD 6620g or the build in HD 6650M, would be nice if those could enjoy driver updates like all the other Radeons

I have the same problem with my dv6-6102ax which has the A8 APU with 6620G and a 6750M GPU.

Even the Embedded Catalyst drivers do not work. I am emailing tech support now to see if I get more info.

Catalyst 11.9 now officialy supports the 3500M and 6620G

Still doesn't work. The auto detect tool downloads the driver, but the driver then says I do not have a graphics card.

Driver manual installation (Catalyst 11.9) ends correctly (no errors inside the log) but after PC's reboot drivers are not used by OS and the GFX Card/APU seems not recognized as compatible hardware.
