My video card, an AMD Radeon HD 6480G, came factory installed on my HP Pavillion g7-1237dx Notebook. The issue is that it will not correctly render graphics on hardly any game I attempt to play.

What I get, I can best describe as flickering "shards" or thorns protruding from the game models (a fellow tech student referred what I described as "mesh collision/clash"). According to the AMD website, this card can play quite a few games, so I'm wondering if anyone might know a fix for this issue.

I do have the latest drivers installed, but to be honest the video issues have always been this way since I bought it.

Many thanks in advance for youir help.
