To reduce heat on my XP1700, KN266 with VT8237 in a Medion MD2629 Notebook (=Yakumo = ???) I would like to lock my CPU-Frequency to the lowest frequency when operating on external power.

Does the CPU have a sense pin that detects it's powered externally or is it something in the Notebook-HW/BIOS that I havn't found yet/is missing?
