I have an HP NX6125 (turion ml-40, 512, 80gb etc etc) Im just wondering what upgrade options i might have.

From reading on this forum I can see the turion x2 chips are socket S1 and the single core chips are s754. Is this correct?
If so my only cpu upgrade option would be the ml-44, would I really notice a difference?

Also, Im gonna be upgrading the memory soon, Do socket 754 turions take advantage of dual channel? if so I guess ill have to replace the one stick in there at the moment with a matched pair.

Ive always been a big fan of AMD, infact I haven't built an intel system for years but have to say Im not impressed with the turions power-now abilities. The steps dont seems very fluid, infact quite jerky. Just a side note but if anyone has any advice on how to cure that Id be very grateful. (i have the latest driver)

Thanks in advance, any advice would be great
