I am looking for a laptop with Gigabit Ethernet port (2 is better) that can write/read data at contiuous rate of at least 110MB/s. Disk capacity should be at least 150GB.

One operation mode is UDP data transfer from Gigabit Ethernet to Hard Disk.
Second operation mode is UDP data transfer from Hard Disk to Gigabit Ethernet.

If anyone can offer such a product, send reply to michaelu@seaptec.com.

A note to make here, most hard drives (desktop) will offer an average data read/write of about 30 MB/s, most laptop hard drives are lower than that and are about 20-28 MB/s. So even with a gigabit network port you would not be making full use of the speed. Furthermore, most laptops will come with 40 - 120GB drives, some companies may allow you to use a 160GB drive, but it will either be ATA6 or Sata 150, and that varies manufacturer to manufacturer.

I would look at HP/Compaq, Dell, Toshiba, and Gateway to see what they offer.
