I have the Presario 2100 with the AMD CP 2000+ processer. It operates at lower than normal speeds frequently, and I have been hearing this "PowerNow" stuff. Not exactly sure what this is...but how bout some power sometime?? To sum up the slowness...it takes (seriously) 15 minutes to completely boot up, and the first app I open takes another minute or two to open. Now that's not so efficient.

ANyway, hoping you (or someone else) can help.

My current driver for the processer is 5.1.2600.0 I tried to allow it to update the driver, but none were found. Is this the problem? Do I need to install some type of accelerator?

As a second part to the question, the system info also indicates that I have only 448 RAM, when is should be 512. Is this another wonderful addition to AMD.

THanks in advance for your help...
Brian
