this guy is trying to sell me this chip and says it has a 3000 core on dead center.
he said the 300 means 3000...t818756k30075.
any help thanks..this is a 2400 barton mobile..

If you're referring to the rumors that this specific part of a CPU's serial/batch no. represents the maximum speed-grade this chip could've been used for, i have yet to see proof of that...
IMHO, it's pure rumor/speculation...i wouldn't rely on that
