Hey all
I have tried everything in my right mind to fix this thing but i just cant get the cpu out of its slot. I have searched and searched and found nothing. Help plz

Generally, there are two types of mechanisms for releasing the Sockets' locking mechanism on a Laptop/Notebook:

You will either see a small, flat silver screw that must be turned from a 'locked' into an 'open' position, or there will be a small space on the socket that is just big enough to fit a flathead screwdriver - just slide slide the socket carefully into the appropriate direction with the screwdriver in that case.
