my cpu has gotten up to 75 degrees celcius when i was converting video files for an extended period of time, ussually it varies anywhere from between 35 degrees celcius (idle/internet browsing on power saver or balanced mode) to 60 degrees celcius (high performance) are these typical normal temperatures for this processor ?

Yeah, they are about the average temperatures for the X2. If you want to cool them down a bit ensure there is good air flow around the fan intakes. That should bring down the temps by around 2 -5C. The mobile cpus are capable of running warmer than their desktop cousins. As long as the max temperature doesnt reach above 80 or 85C, you are fine.
