I recently bought a MSI E350IA-E44 mainboard on which i'm using windows XP professional with 2GB DDR3.
Using the original video drivers (fom the CD), my event viewer was spammed with tens of event entries per seconds, so i downloaded the new version of Catalyst (12.3) but the problem is still there but under a different form. Now anytime i start a video i get this error on event viewer;
0000000174: 2012-04-16 21:57:00:343 Calling iDEM_PP.GetPowerSourceMapping failed and result is: 3 Error Called by: ATI.ACE.CLI.Aspect.PowerPlay4.Graphics.Runtime.RT_PowerPlay4:

ccc.exe ) assemblyName
CLI.Aspect.PowerPlay4.Graphics.Runtime, Version=2.0.4427.39139, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e)
The video plays mostly normal, on some i get like a strange partial refresh. The strangest part is that this kind of partial refresh i get it even on desktop, for example if i have the firefox window maximized and in background another window, sometimes it appears a part of the background window over the focused one.
This is really annoying.
I should send the mainboard to the warranty, or is a driver problem?
