Hi everyone,

Got an AMD Athlon XP mobile processor in my hp pavilion notebook running at 1.86 GHz. I think I need to turn off PowerNow 'cause it inteferes with some of my applications (like TV capturing software etc.) but I don't have a clue how to do it.
Please help me out.

I've tried using RMClock but it hasn't changed anything so far. My system is lacking performance.

Please help /wacko.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wacko.gif' />

Just cjange the Power scheme(Control Panel(classic view-->Power Options) from "Portable/Laptop" to "Always On".This should disable PowerNow.

Done that already but it hasn't changed anything.
Thanks anyways.

Unfortunately, there is no PowerNow management software for Athlon XP mobile processors....any other ideas?
