1) The vast open endedness of this question begs you to go and read. Visit some PC sites, Tech sites like Extremetech.com, Anandtech.com, etc.

2) That's the $64K (bit) question...it seems to be a moving target. Probably safe to assume that by Q306, releases should have happend, and products should be shipping...
