Laptops are somewhat limited in what can and cannot be update...things like CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, and Wireless are about it. You may be able to upgrade by adding some more memory; this trick has extended the life and usefulness of several of my computers. Otherwise, you could look to a new and improved computer, maybe one of the Turion 64 2X when they finally get to the retail shelf.
