How upgradeable are current turion systems going to be? the model of laptop im thinking about getting comes with a ml-44. but is this the end of the line for the turion procs (non x2) or will there be more comming? especially will there ever be a dual core in this socket?

Its probably EOL for the single core Turion64's. They might be available for a while, but there wont be any dual cores based on the Skt 754.

The Turion ML-44 should perform pretty well even though its not a dual core.

Thanks guys, now to decide if i want to be stuck with a non-upgradeable cpu or to wait and see if anyone will make a similar laptop (clevo m950k/sager 5950) to the one currently available but with X2s
