AMD mobile Sempron 3100+, last driver 1.2.2.2.0 HP Compaq nx6125, last BIOS, 1GB RAM Win XP pro SP2
I upgraded Power Monitor v.1.0.0 to v.1.0.1 and the effect was horible!!! NOW every 10 seconds the fan is turning on, the CPU temp is 65 for few seconds, while I am using just Skype and WORD. Help me resolve this problem. Before upgrading the new version I had no problems! But I am qurious, that's why I tried the new version and now can you help me to return the last perfect conditions for my notebook, please..

Do you know how to do a "system restore"?

yes, but i did not make a recovery :-), my notebook was without operational system, so I dont have this recovery win cd, I will make a new instalation after the exams :-). I have another question is it possible to change the CPU speed manualy to the lowest position (800mhz) because I dont like very much this auto POWER NOW, I am looking for controlling the speed by myself, in 90% of the time I am using just firefox,word and skype, and sometimes bsplayer, for that time I dont want my fan to work and to make this noise. Thanks!
