I have two K6-2 processors that I want to check the proper Bus Freq and Ratios.

K6-2 433 2.1v and K6-2 550 2.3v

Also, if anybody has used these on the FIC VA-503+ motherboard, what settings did you use?

K6-2 433MHz:

Mobile (ADK) version of the K6-2.
96MHz FSB x 4.5

You may be able to get extra out of this chip, as it uses a lower 2.1v core voltage (I had the 450MHz version running at 550MHz using 2.2v!.

K6-2 550MHz:

AMD's top K6-2 model. Heavily overclocked even at default speed, hence 2.3v core instead of 2.2v despite using exactly the same core as other K6-2's like the 500.

100MHz x 5.5, although at this speed even AMD had trouble keeping these CPU's stable; it may be worth trying 100MHz x 5 or ideally 112MHz x 4.5. The extra MHz isn't really that noticable on this chip because it still uses the same FSB as earlier models - the "latency" effect is very noticeable..

I'm not familiar with that K6-2 433MHz, but I've had a K6-2 550MHz running at 5.0x115 = 575 MHz on 2.4 VCore, in my GF's confuser for well over a year now.

This is on an Asus P5A, but I believe you have the same options on your FIC VA-503+ motherboard.

Her only complaint has been that she recently was required to do some 'house-cleaning' of her HS because it was starting to overheat under heavy use.

Here is my new PCChips M848A' "> v2.1, with a 1700+ @ 2411 MHz, and my trusty old PCChips M810L' "> v7.1A, with a Barton 2500+ @ over 3500+. Some of my fancy cars are on this pag
