What is the safe operating temp for the Athlon T-Bird 1.2gig FSB: 100? Mine is showing in VIA as: 152 degrees right now. It was running cooler then that until I did a clean reinstall of Windows XP H.E. Don't want to burn up this CPU. I do have a back-up, but its a Duron 1.0 gig.

Max temp for your CPU is 95°C.
Since the old T-Birds(model 4) don't have an integrated thermal diode, i recommend to keep your temp below about 70°C to be sure.
