I know the Geode GX has long since reached its end of life, but my customer has many thousands of them still in use and I'm hoping somebody around here can point me to some information.

I understand the GX has a hardware based mpeg decoder on a co-processing chip. Are there any examples of how to use that capability?

We'd like to be able to play mpegs from the local file system but conventional mpeg players, such as mplay, are too slow to be fully useful.

Any help very much appreciated.
