I hane not got idea on how the amd processors grew up. Or the Athalon way. I am just wondering is athalon called k7.

But somewhere I saw that after k6 III, Athalon XP family started right?

The term 'K7'or 'K7-family' is usually used for ALL Athlon, Duron, Athlon XP and Athlon MP processors as well as their respective mobile counterparts.
