Hi
I have recently changed from Windows ME to Windows XP Pro on a machine with an Athlon 1100 processor. On bootup from cold the system keeps rebooting without entering the XP system. After about 6-10 cycles it then boots into XP fine.
If I shut down the system and restart within 10 minutes or so it boots up fine. If I leave the system for say an hour the rebooting problem starts up all over again.
Any suggestions ?
Tony

If XP does that it meens something is very worng with your MB/CPU/RAM. Try to lower fq of memory from BIOS. (See if you can set it from 133 to 100). You can do this by "Chipset Features" option (If any).
What MB do you have and what video card ?
