I got a IBM Aptiva 2153 EN2 about 6 years old. Ive upgraded the processor from a K6-2 266MHz to a K6-2 500MHz and have added a CD burner since i bought it and upgraded RAM to 192Meg from 32 Meg. I think I need a more powerful power supply because sometimes the computer reboots itself. My question is are power supplies a universal fit , will the installation screw holes line up on any power supply I order online? I beleive mine is only 100 Watts. Thanks

Hard to say...sometimes those big PC companies don't use standard parts...For the longest time Dell used a reconfigured PSU to their build spec...many a end user was burned by that slight change from the regular ATX spec.

I think your best/safest bet is to get a hold of a certified IBM repair shop and ask them.

Physics? Ha! This is clearly magic and devilry at work. Prepare firewood! We have witches to burn!
