does anyone know where i can find a amd k6 cooling fan. it is 50mmx50mm with a 2 pin connector. this has been very hard to find and i need a new fan for my computer.

In answer, many used parts stores and RadioShack still carry 50mm fans.

so i can buy that fan with a 3 pin connector and that adaptor will convert to a 2 pin and that will work?

You don't mention where you are from in your profile, but you should get these in some shops - we have maplains here in the UK and they stock all sorts of goodies Also, try looking at some electronic product catalogs. I'm busy looking through mine now - hopefully I find some.
