I have obtained an AMD K6-2+ CPU. Unfortunately, my MOB will only provide a minimum core voltage of 2.2v (10% higher than the 2v core specs for this CPU).

If I run a high volume CPU cooling fan on the CPU will I be able to use this CPU at a core voltage of 2.2v?

Yes, it should be OK...the lifetime of your CPU might be a little shorter but it shouldn't burn
