I want to install XP on my Aptiva 2158-282 (current OS is windows 98). The installation instructions warn me that I should inform first if I need a BIOS upgrade. But IBM does not provide any info on the 2158 model.

Can anybody suggest me where to look for more info?
- do I indeed need a new BIOS? (the current one is v3.2 v72NL1R)
- where can I find the new BIOS?
- how do I upgrade a BIOS (I´ve never done it)
