That depends on how big the heatsink is…

Don't let it go over 65°C, preferably it should be under 60°C.

Well my T-Bird 1.4ghz/266 runs average 42 celcius, but I use Arctic Silver 5 on a
copper core XP 2700+ heatsink. I think the Thunderbird cpus run hotter than Durons so you can use that as a gauge.

If your Duron is running over 50C you should check your case cooling (even your Power supply) as well as the heatsink. If it is not seated properly you will have high cpu temps. Also if you have too small of a heatsink as well.
