if it can support a k6II, it can most likely support a k6III. i would do a little research at the HP website and see wat u can find. the thing is, most prebuilt PCs are against upgrading(ex dell, HP, Compaq, Emachines). they want u to say, ahh this CPU wot work, ill by a whole other computer from the same company!! earns them more money.

is there any reason u want to upgrade? if its just boot times, more RAM will do wonders.

well it was to use a dvd burner but after all i can use it with no probs i have 320mb in ram but want get another 256mb, remove the 64mb ram so i can have 512mb in ram, mostly to avoid probs.
Also i want get a radeon pci video card to improve my viedo performance

it isn't going to be very good for most modern games even with a Radeon, I'm afraid.
