I have just fitted water colling to my cpu.the temp is about 46c normal and when under strain ( playing demanding games) about 53-56c. Is this good? I have a amd 3200xp chip, raddion 9800xt 256 graphics, 1mb ddr 400htz mem amd a thermaltake case with 7 fans. the internal temp is about 32 c. the problem i have is the heat exchange is in the top so i not quite sure if it is getting enough air flow to cool the chip? what are the temprature norms of the AMD chip.

My 3200+ runs at 48c to 53c depending what I'm doing(this is on MBM5).The BIOS temps always read more,as much as 7 or 8 degrees.

Can you not put the reservoir in the bottom of your case where the temps would be lower?

Put the reservior in the bottom to have max cooling performance.

my cpu rarely sees 50*C and im overclocked and overvolted from 1.6Ghz 1.35v to 2.3Ghz 1.75v, and im on $14 air. did you hook up everything right, use thermal paste etc??
