I am a bit lost in all this pc techie stuff so I hope i'm in the right place. I have a amd duron motherboard.
I need a driver for the upgrade process ( so I have been told) To make it run more smoothly and efficiently. Can any of you pc wizards help please. The specs i got from everest is coppied below.

Motherboard is <dmi> Asus A7V-VM

CPU is AMD Duron, 850 Mhz (8.5 * 10)
CPU Alias Spitfire, Athlon lite
CPU Stepping is A2


I really hope you guys can help.
I know it's an old system but it seems to be fine with most things.

Processors generally doesn't need Drivers with the exeption that is for enabling a feature (Like Cool'n Quiet in Athlons 64). Your Processor doesn't need any sort of Driver. Do you have any type of troubles with it?
