I really need help with this one. Had to reinstall the system from scratch and I don't have a AMD drivers disk for the PCI Communications device, Input controller or Multimedia Audio Device.

This is a friend's computer and she has an AMD K6-2 motherboard. Unfortunately, I can't find a place to download these essential drivers. Nor do I really have the $$ to buy a drivers cd and have it shipped.

Are there any reputable download sites or free cd offers for this motherboard?

I was debating on using my drivers disk for my newer AMD motherboard but I figured that would not be the best idea... however, would it work - at least for the PCI drivers I need?

Also, does anyone know if this Motherboard has onboard video? If so, where can I find drivers for that? Right now I can only get 16 colors...

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum.

What is the exact make/model of the motherboard...

Download a copy of belarc advisor, then put it on the K6-2 machine and run it. report back to the forum what is found.

Later

I really like the reporting feature of belarc advisor, MD Willington.
