What is the fastest processor I can install on this board?
And what are the jumper settings for said processor.

This motherboard is in an IBM Aptiva
This it has the text "V58XA MB 97114-2 48.38401.021" on it
There is a Socket 7 with a K6/200ALR installed
There is a ATI 3DRAge II+DVD chip on board
The BIOS chip is marked "V58XA BIOS U21 V3.0R03-A0B0"
There is onboard sound (but I'm not sure which chip it is)
There are 4 ISA slots and 3 PCI slots (one overlapping)

Try the program AIDA32, do a google search for it. Run the program and it should tell you the exact model of mainboard your Aptiva has.

Does the board look like this one? The maximum CPU for that board is a AMD K6 PR300.

I did a google search for V58XA, and it came up with an ACER motherboard, that could be the model...just use AIDA to double check.
