i hv an amd k6 duron computer that only has 64mb of ram and was wandering if i could rip some pc100 sd ram from an older p3 rig i hv for a possible memory upgrade, basically what i wanna know is, is it possible to use sd ram on ddr motherboards or even vice versa using it on an intel board boosting sd ram, /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

sd ram and ddr ram have diffrent slots.
if you look at the ram stick you will see the diffrent groves.
so no you cant mix them.
DDR is only for DDR slots.
and SD is only for SD slots.

Some older 462 boards do have SDram and DDR slots if this is the case use the SDram but remove the DDR ram. REmember though 64mb of DDR is almost equal to 128mb of SDram because of access times
